Mandarin Oriental Hotel suites shortlisted for AHEAD Awards

Purcell are thrilled to be recognised for our design within the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge, London.

The suites within Mandarin Oriental have been shortlisted for the AHEAD Europe Awards for Hospitality, Experience and Design, which celebrates the most outstanding new hospitality projects throughout Europe.

Designed in collaboration with Joyce Wang, Mandarin Oriental’s suites are finished with the highest quality. The suites are inspired by the early 20th-century’s golden age of travel, and filled with luxurious Art-Deco inspired designs, including hand-painted gilded silk wall coverings and carpets that resemble autumnal leaves.

Two of the hotel's penthouses: the Mandarin Penthouse and the Oriental Penthouse can be interconnected to create one of London’s largest and fully accessible suits, showcasing expansive views of London’s skyline and the city’s famous Hyde Park.
