David trained at Bristol University receiving the Miller Barstow Prize from the University in his final year. As a qualified architect, he has worked in the building industry both professionally and on site in Bristol, Lewes, London and Worcester. He took part time Postgraduate training at the AA School leading to the Diploma in Building Conservation and further training at the College of Estate Management, Reading University led to the Diploma in Arbitration.
David has extensive experience of looking after historic buildings, extending and altering historic buildings, and of new buildings. He investigates defects in building work and is trained in work associated with disputes in the building industry (expert witness).
