Lucie Clark

Assistant Heritage Consultant

Lucie is passionate about the historic environment and is committed to playing a positive part in the conservation and enhancement of heritage sites. She has gained experience in researching and assessing historic buildings through her undergraduate degree in History of Art and Architecture, an Mphil in History of Art and Architecture focusing on 18th Century country houses and villas, and her MSt in Building History which focused on the introduction of technology into country houses in the 19th Century.

 Lucie has applied and expanded upon the experience gained through her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in her career, working as an assistant heritage consultant for several years on a wide range of projects varying in scale and complexity. These have ranged from large projects relating to country houses and their estates, university buildings dating between the 14th and 20th Centuries, industrial buildings, and hospitals to smaller residential buildings such as 18th and 19th Century suburban villas and townhouses.

She has recently joined Purcell's Cambridge Studio, where she will be applying her knowledge and enthusiasm working on Heritage Appraisals, Heritage Impact Assessments, and Conservation Management Plans.
